ABOUT

Welcome to my about page!  Let you give you a bit of background about myself.  I grew up in a small town outside of Binghamton, NY.  I went to college at SUNY Fredonia on the shores of Lake Erie.  I went to college for Speech Pathology and while I was there I took a couple of courses on writing sci-fi and fantasy. 

       I attended Nazareth College in Rochester, NY for my Masters in Education.  I achieved my Master's degree for Literacy Education.  I was married in 1999 in Binghamton, NY to my wonderful husband.  We ended up moving several times for his work So I have lived in several places.  

       In 2007, we adopted our daughters from Guatemala.  They have truly been a blessing for us.  We now live in North Carolina and enjoy the mild winters and trips to the beach.  

     I started writing when I was in High School, and continued perfecting my writing while in college.  After we adopted our daughters, I left teaching and began writing full books.  It's taken many years, but I'm now ready to publish.
